Mike Hook - Managing Director
Mike graduated with a BSc Honours Degree in Geology & Mining Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Science in 1988. Mike was an original member of the team that established ITT Industries, Network Systems & Services as a global leader in ICT and held the position of Managing Director between 1998 & 2001.
In 2001, Mike founded 2iServices Ltd, a provider of intelligent infrastructure management solutions and ITSM consulting services. 2iServices Ltd was acquired by Line Management Group in 2007 and Mike now heads the management team of Line Management Group’s managed service organisation, 2i Systems & Services Ltd.
Matthew Atkinson - Technology & Transformation Director
Matt graduated from Aston University with a Master Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering and subsequently attained an MBA at the University of Bath. In addition he is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the IEE.
Matt´s experience of network infrastructure management solutions in LAN, MAN and WAN environments along with a unique combination of technical, marketing and business level skills, gained during senior roles at Newbridge Networks and Alcatel, places him in an ideal position to be able to convert technological innovation into viable business propositions. Matt is also a fully qualified Six Sigma black belt.
Gareth Rowe - Managed Service Director
Gareth is responsible for the take-on, transition and operation of our managed service contracts. Gareth has over 15 year’s experience in ICT service delivery and transition and has successfully managed service transitions at Barclays Capital, Citigroup and Société Générale.
Gareth is ITIL qualified and heads a team of experienced and highly qualified personnel that utilise our ITSM tools and processes to deliver best in class managed services.
Gareth also has operational control over the resources of our in-house TUPE specialist with backup from our HR consultants.
Terry Riches - Assoc. Director, New Business Development
Terry is a Business Development specialist with over 20 years experience in sales and the communications industry with a background in engineering, fibre optics and manufacturing.
Prior to joining 2i Systems and Services, Terry spent 5 years at Redstone where he was responsible for their Intelligent Infrastructure Management solutions and support services. During his time at Redstone, Terry was responsible for the sale of over 1 Million Intelligent Infrastructure ports.
Prior to Redstone, Terry was EMEA Sales and Marketing Director for iTRACS Corp and an Associate Director for the UK subsidiary of Swiss communication system manufacturing specialist HUBER+SUHNER AG.
